	Clear-Care Preferred Provider Organization was established in 1993 to develop a network of quality health care professionals who would agree to provide medically necessary services to covered individuals under special discounted fee arrangements. The network is marketed statewide and on a multi-state level to large self-insured employers, health insurers, and TPAs. Clear-Care PPO operates under both an ERISA exempt certificate and a non-risk assuming certificate issued by the State of Pennsylvania Insurance Department. Principally, Clear-Care PPO does not engage in any activities such as: use of primary "gate-keeper"; capitation of providers; or placing providers at financial risk for the cost of health care services.
